I went to see the movie, Downtown Abbey, the other day. I liked the tv series for a while when it first came out but stopped watching after the second year. I mainly went to see the movie because some of it was set in the South of France, a really beautiful area and was very disapointed when only a rather grand mansion (only an hour from Saint Tropez) was shown. Not one village or street was shown, not one scene was shot on a beach but one and that on a very small one. Who shot this? Why didn’t they asked me where they could find the best areas? The story was a bit jevenile as well. What I did enjoy was the theatre which was built in 1947 and I don’t think anything was updated.

Isn’t this grand?
The aquatic theme was every where.

From the upstairs. There was no elevator by the way.

This was the rather European porch on a house near me.
A colorful lily seen in a yard as I walked.
