December 10th

The weather has been rather nippy this last week. I have needed my heavy coat, gloves, hat and scarf to be comfortable. It isn't cold enough for long underwear but the temperatures seem to be steadily falling and it won't be long until we wake up one morning to temperatures below freezing. It snowed last New Year's Day. I'm wondering if we will get snow here this winter.

Once again, I made it back to Luxembourg Gardens. I am always enchanted with the mums there in the Autumn and I love the Medici Fountain. Usually the water is covered with leaves, which can make good photos, but this time the water was clear and there was a great reflection in the water of the pond.

I love reflections in water.

I just realized that I had a photo of the same shop last month. I took this because they have candles burning outside with the flowers-rather elegant, I thought.
